🛠️ Determining the Correct Cottage Latch Orientation
To select the appropriate latch:
Stand on the side of the door that opens toward you (i.e., the side where you pull the door open).
Observe the hinge placement:
If the hinges are on the left, the door is left-hinged, and you should choose a right arm cottage latch.
If the hinges are on the right, the door is right-hinged, and you should choose a left arm cottage latch.
